I decided to melt up Marseille soap and throw in rose infused black tea and palmarosa essential oil. Apparantly Marseille soap doesn't melt so this was good practice for next time. I threw in jojoba oil and honey to try and get the mixture to loosen up a bit and I think it had a nice effect, but the soap didn't harden up as much in the end- that, however doesn't matter to me. It still washes nicely and probably won't dry my hands. Below are some pictures of the process.

List of Ingredients: Marseille soap, black tea and I added palmarosa essentiasl oil, jojoba oil and honey. Also a called for but unnecessary ingredient is... |
...the Rubbing Alchohol, which I put into a spray bottle |
I added Palmarosa Essential Oil to spice up the Rose & Earl grey (Bergamot) black tea scents |
I used different containers for the soaps and noticed that popsicle containers don't work, they are the perfect shape but you will not get the soap out of it. Directions that I found online said to spray the soap with Rubbing Alchohol to avoid bubbles. I had no bubbles, but it did smoothe out the surface... |

The finished product. My thought was that that black tea would work as an exfoliant... and it does |
